Does the wireless camera support 5GHz WiFi?

No. The wireless camera only supports 2.4GHz WiFi. If your router supports dual-band, please switch to 2.4GHz WiFi in the router settings.

Why the battery camera does not record for 24/7 continuous?

The battery camera automatically enters standby mode to save power when no motion is detected for a long time.

Does the home security camera require both an SD card and cloud to store video?

The home security camera supports two storage methods: SD card (up to 128G) and cloud storage. You can choose one of the storage methods.

Does the battery camera need to be charged out of the box?

Please open the camera soft cover and hold the power button to check indicator on. The power indicator turns on meaning the camera has power. If not, please use the power cord provided in the box to charge the camera.

Does the WiFi surveillance camera support other apps?

No. The WiFi surveillance camera only supports HoMeYe Pro app.
