Step 1: Melt chocolate

Melt semisweet or white chocolate chips with vegetable oil in the microwave, stirring in between, until the chocolate chips are completely melted and smooth.

Add food coloring to mix it up!

Step 2: Dip

Dip your treat into the melted chocolate mixture, shake gently to let the extra chocolate drip off, and then place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet or platter.

Step 3: Add toppings

While the chocolate is still warm, you can sprinkle your dipped treat with things such as:

Step 4: Chill

Freeze until chocolate is hardened, about 5 minutes, or refrigerate or at least 15 minutes or up to 1 day.
